Tie and dye is one of the most widely accepted and one of the traditional methods of printing textiles. The process of tie-dye typically consists of folding, twisting, pleating, or crumpling fabric or a garment and binding with string or rubber bands, followed by application of dye(s). A variety of dyes are used in tie-dyeing, including household, fibre reactive, acid, and vat dyes. This lab helps the students to learn the tie-dye techniques and is beneficial for their career growth. Students can also learn and practice the various other techniques such as screen printing, spray printing and block printing in this lab and give wings to their imagination.
