Every week there’s a different sport. Each sport enhances different attribute and gives the technical knowledge. Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six out court players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. The team that scores more goals wins. In the game of Handball, the whole body stretches because of jumping, running, shooting the ball and defending it. It even helps to build up the concentration and coordination amongst the players.

Keeping all these in mind, Faculty of Fashion & Design organized the game of handball on Friday, 24 January 2020. There were 4 teams (3 teams had students and 4th team had faculty members and the Dean) and every team had 7 players. The number of matches played was 3 and the duration was 15 minutes.

The opening match was won by 1st years against the team of 2nd years. Then they played with the team of 3rd years. Again 1st year won and they played with faculty members. All the faculty members played very enthusiastically and won the final match against the team of 1st years and the final winner for handball game was the team of faculty members where they scored 4 goals successfully.
