Diwali is the “Festival of Lights” and one of the most festive and beautiful times of the year. On the auspicious festival of Diwali, SGTU students luminated the campus through the creation of dazzling rangolis. The students from all the faculties showed their creativity through performances on the stage with full enthusiasm. Mixed dance performances, Bhangra, classical dances, skits, songs, lucky draws performed by the students ignited the true festive atmosphere. Faculty of Fashion & Design organize their annual fashion show on the theme “NAZAKAT” in which various garments were created by the students in various hues.
On the next day of the event, the faculty members of SGTU showcased their talent on stage. The teaching staff proved that when it comes to creativity, talent, and enthusiasm, they too do not lag behind. The photo-booth was a major attraction where all you needed was to dress up the way you like and let the funky accessories color your life. Diwali fest 2019, was overall, a cultural affair and evoked the festive spirits and juvenility in the campus.
