Continuing the series of Sports period, Faculty of Fashion & Design organized the game of ‘Throwball’ on this Friday. It is a team sport in which players try to throw balls and hit opponents, while avoiding being hit themselves. The objective of each team is to eliminate all members of the opposing team by hitting them with thrown balls, catching a ball thrown by an opponent, or inducing an opponent to commit a violation, such as stepping outside the court.
The number of teams made was three. First two teams consisted the students from different batches and the third team consisted the Dean and faculty members. The sport was played in the afternoon from 2 PM to 4 PM. The first match was played among 7 players each from the two teams of students. The team of first year won against the team of third year students. The team of first year students won against the team of faculty members too. On the whole, the sports period was enjoyed by everyone.
