Students from Faculty of Fashion and Design attended Surajkund Mela 2022. The mela was organized by the Surajkund Mela Authority & Haryana Tourism in collaboration with Union Ministries of tourism, Textiles, Culture and External Affairs. For the 35th Surajkund International Craft Mela- 2022, the state of J&K has been chosen to be the Theme State. At least 20 countries & all the states of India will be participating in the Mela.
The motive behind taking students there was to display textile, crafts and handloom loom techniques through proper demonstration of different states. The students appreciate the visit and request to take them more.
