Blenders Pride Fashion Tour
FASHION DESIGN COUNCIL OF INDIA (FDCI)

The students of Faculty of Fashion & Design visited the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour powered by FDCI at GMR Ground, Aerocity, New Delhi. More than 80 designers exhibited their ensembles and a collection was showcased by the designer Ikshit Pande under the label Quod. Then, followed a panel discussion among the big names of industry like Antonio Maurizio, Ashish N Soni, Kalyani Chawla, Rahul Mishra, Ruchika Sachdeva, Shalini Passi and Sunil Sethi moderated by Diva Dhawan, where they discussed how a blend of Indian ethos and global appeal has made designers shift to making clothes borderless. The panelists interacted with the students also and cleared their doubts.
It was a learning experience for the students as they got to witness the garments by the renowned and creative designers like Abu Jani, Sandeep Khosla, Monisha Jaising, Vivek Karunakaran, Nikita Mhaisalkar, Atsu Sekhosi and many more.
