Faculty of Fashion & Design welcomed Ms. Zoya Afroz, who is a former Pond’s Femina Miss India Inetrnational and a well-known actress in Bollywood Film Industry. She has appeared in numerous films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Mann, Kuch Naa Kaho and The Xpose. A greeting session was organized online with the chief presence of Dr. Vinod Kumar Sharma (VC), Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Dhawan (PVC, Academics), Prof. (Dr.) Sharif Ahmad (PVC, Research and Consultancy) Dr. Vikas Nath (Director, IQAC), Dr. M.K. Nair (Dean, FFAD), all the faculty members and students of the Faculty of Fashion & Design.
The session was inaugurated with a welcome speech of all the dignitaries on the occasion of the joining of Ms. Zoya Afroz as an Advisory Board Member of FFAD, SGTU.
During the session, Ms. Zoya shared her career experiences and her success story which helped the students to get a brief idea about the celebrity lifestyle and to shape their own career in the glamour field of fashion. The students participated enthusiastically and interacted with the actress. The session was conducted very successfully and was very insightful for the students.
